It is that time of year again where all the new freshers come to Edinburgh and the badminton club wants as many people to join as possible.
Below is the place and time in which the team trials and social session will take place for all you keen badminton players out there.
Sunday 14th September 2014
Team Trials – CSE – 10am – 12:30pm
Social Session – CSE – 12:30 – 3pm
For the team trials we want as many new faces to come as possible because we have a large number of teams now and want to follow on from the success of last year. So to all members from last year who have previously played for a team they will be automatically considered for a place in their old team or a place in the team above and therefore not required to attend the trials. This is so we can use our time much more efficiently on new players that have come in.
After the team trials we are going to have our first social session for all the new freshers! So if you are not interested in playing competitively but still want to play badminton this is the session for you. It is a good opportunity for you to meet even more people in your freshers week and hopefully persuade you to join our wonderful club. In addition, a lot of the committee members will be at this session so it’s a good chance to get to know us and answer any questions you may have.
If you want any further information on the badminton club come down to the freshers fair on the 10th and 11th of September where we will have a table set up and a number of committee members will be there to answer any questions you have.
