Sunday Match Reports – Triple Kill! – Edinburgh University Badminton Club

Welcome folks to the Sunday Match Report. As the year progresses there will be more and more badminton games from our various teams EUBC 1 through 6, sometimes with more than one match a week. With this in mind I will be collating all results from each week in a report on Sundays.

That said though, I have been pretty horrible at keeping up with these the last few weeks… So I now have THREE weeks worth of matches to get through. This is so much stuff that I’ll be dividing it up into two posts (one for BUCS matches and one for the Lothian League games). This is the BUCS matches post.

Here’s what I’ve missed over the last three weeks:

Satruday 12/10: Alpha Squad played Glasgow 1^st – Won 10 – 2
Bravo Squad played Aberdeen 2^nd – Won 12 – 0
Charlie Squad played Stirling 2^nd – Won 9 – 3

Satruday 19/10: Alpha Squad played Dundee 1^st – Won 9 – 3
Bravo Squad played Glasgow 2^nd – Won 11 – 1
Charlie Squad played Stirling 2^nd – Won 7 – 5

Satruday 26/10: Alpha Squad played Strathclyde 1^st – Won 10 – 2
Bravo Squad played Charlie Squad – Won/Lost 10 – 2

Let’s put some of this into perspective shall we? This means that not a single one of our Squads have lost a single BUCS game yet (I think we can ignore the win by Bravo Squad over Charlie Squad). This means that thus far in the BUCS League Edinburgh Uni is undefeated! Killing Spree! Rampage! Unstoppable! DOMINATING!
